Written introduction and presentation slides

These pages contain (German) slides first shown in a presentation at the EUROFORUM conference "electronic Health" in Düsseldorf, Germany, on October the 20th, 2000.

The first part of the presentation includes pictograms that can be used to explain the concept of quality of life measurement. These pictograms are based upon those originally designed by Prof. Franz Porzsolt of the AG Klinische Ökonomik, University of Ulm, for his article: "Messung der Lebensqualität - Wie und wozu Sie das Wohlbefinden Ihrer Patienten quantifizieren sollten." (Der Allgemeinarzt 18: 610-624, Juni 1996).
